As you can tell it's been a little while since I updated the world on the Doss Family. So here is the breakdown for the last 6 months... right after we arrived back in the States after our honeymoon we piled my little VW Bug with all our belongings and moved ourselves down to Mesa, Arizona. We lived in a condo right on a golf course and were both working full time. I bet you are wondering what in the world would possess us to EVER move to what I like to call "Hell's Kitchen (only hotter)". Reason number one was school for Adam. ASU had the masters program he wanted and he was offered a job with a landscaping company with a very promising future. He actually moved down there in May the last 6 weeks of our engagement. We had some great adventures while we were there. Like a hour long hunt for a terrifying lizard in our condo! That was hilarious. The little guy was more scared than we were but he gave us both a run for our money. The bedroom got torn apart trying to catch him so we could release him into the wild! Haha what a great night. We were so proud. Another fun time was our ward's giant slip-n-slide. Although we were the new-bees and knew abosolutely no one, we got to cool off and have a blast while doing it.
Well, after about a month or so we just decided it was not for us- too hot and we missed home. So we packed our bags and moved back to good old Idaho and settled down in Meridian in a little 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment we love and now call HOME.
Football, football, football. Can a girl ever get sick of that word? Yes! If you know Adam at all, you know he has 2 loves. His wife and football, especially Boise State football. Now, as much fun as it is, Jessica is ready for a break. We went to every Boise State home game and only missed one game rain or shine the whole season- heaven forbid! But great job at the Fiesta Bowl Broncos... Adam also coaches football at Meridian High School and works full time as an oderly in the OR at St. Luke's Downtown. He is currently applying for an internship at BSU with footaball program (so keep your fingers crossed!) and is getting his degree in Sports Managment. Is that a surpise to anyone? I work a whole block away at Ada West Dermatology and love every minute of it and am going to school for Nursing. We are sooo unbelievably busy but have so much fun at the same time.Um, what else? No, I'm not pregnant yet. :) But my bestie, Rachel Mendenhall just had her first! Noah Matthew Mendenhall! 6 pounds and 18 inches long! CONGRATS! I can't wait to meet the little guy! And I did get brave and chopped my hair off. It hasn't been this short since I was like 4! That's all at the moment and I promise to do my best to keep everyone better updated.
